Guildford

It was just this small town in Surrey. Then they finally finished the cathedral (and used it to film The Omen) and it... stayed this small town in Surrey. With a borough council and a small town centre. This is ludicrous, since Guildford has a cathedral (with bellringers), a ruined castle, and a university. There's not much else to say, really.
