Research - IPv6 in Space
work done with the CLEO router in orbit.
The CLEO Cisco router in Low Earth Orbit was the first to test the latest version of the Internet Protocol, IPv6, in space:

Five years later, Cisco's later IRIS router, on the Intelsat-14 communications satellite in geostationary orbit, was made IPv6-capable:
